Sista I see you

Sisters I see you waking up daily.....

Big sis getting kids ready for school; making sure your husband, boyfriend, Boo thang gets off to a great start.

Lil Sista I see you; getting up to go to school, dealing with the challenges of being a girl.  

Friends not friends, bullying aiding in your insecurity,  "am I good enough, smart enough, strong enough, cute enough...am I ENOUGH'?   

"Don't be too loud.. it's ghetto, don't talk too much...you come across as a know it all.  Don't be too confident.. it comes off aggressive or cocky.  You can't even walk in confidence, "she thinks she's all that"! 

You get dressed in your home, "you look beautiful babe"!  

Outside the home; "you ugly, you're too tall, too short, too skinny, too fat. too light, too dark, your hair nappy, your nose too big, you look dirty"!

Big Sis; cooking, cleaning, shopping, uplifting, loving, caring, providing! You are the backbone of your home and yes sometimes you have to do it alone; nurturer, disciplinarian, provider, advocate, spiritual advisor, doctor, cheerleader, cab driver and healer.

 Sisters big and small I LOVE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE THE WAY YOU ARE, FLAWS AND ALL! Strong, confident, beautiful, loving and assertive. Do you Boo!
