If I were a sermon

If I were a sermon
I would speak about Gods love you, me and others
Fathers, daughters, sons and mothers
I would speak about the need for families to stay close
Being there for one another, when I'm needed the most
I would speak about how tight our communities need to be
Loving your neighbor, block club parties, clean up the block gatherings
No single person doing everything, everyone contributing, working together to bring about peace and unity
I would speak to my listeners about holding out for your spouse, Best friend and soul mate
and find a block to set up roots, raise your family..stop moving from place to place
How can we be a united and productive community
When the building next door got people moving in and out every other month or 2 or 3
I would speak on people taking responsibility for what they say or do
And stop sitting up gossiping and criticizing folks
Maybe they have no choose but to do the things they do
For it it written in the good book "he who is without sin cast the 1st stone"
So as you make a movement to start throwing those verbal stones and rocks, make sure things are all good in your home
I would say this message is to make you think not to cast any blame
It's to make you look deeper into YOUR life, no two people will receive this the same
And so as I bring my message to a close, I only ask two things of you
Thank the Lord for EVERY day you rise
And live each day head high walking, and speaking in truth
