Rebuild

Them traditional Christian’s... carriers of the word of God; think this way, one way, stay focused this is the way. Sing this way, pray this way. To this being, this diety, no room for practicing a different way this is the one and only way. This verse in the Bible goes this way no other way to interpret it. This Bible story represents this, anything other than this is blasphemy.

Us new generation of out of the box thinkers who also consider ourselves to be Christians, we believe in the Bible and its fundamental teachings. We believe that Jesus is part of God and the son of God and that doesn’t make us less of Christians or not strong enough faith if we just want to know intensely about God.  We want to see this broken down to the lowest common denominator for we are sponges born to absorb, ask questions and learn in a variety of ways.  In the bible, didn't God send he teachers of the word to different groups of people with different backgrounds? Maybe because you have to teach different people different ways to learn about God for them to understand.

We together can create a new fundamental framework of Christianity and bring nonbelievers to become believers “a house divided cannot stand” if we are house of Christians but judge the way each other practices our faith how can we stand together and bring others into our fold?  Our “house”.  Would you move into a house that is falling apart? A house that looks like it won’t stand for long? As a Christian why would I ask you to come into something that won’t keep you safe? Why bring you under the umbrella out of the rain into a shelter that has holes in it?

Instead we can either be truthful about our brokenness and ask you to come in with your tool i.e. new way of thinking, spiritual gifts, creativity and let’s build together and make something great!  Let’s make the Bible relevant to the lives of those we want to hear, by making the connection between the events in the Bible and the events in the world.  After we fix our house, let’s build our neighborhood by bonding together with other churches in our Christian neighborhood and build Gods kingdom!
