Be yourself

So many people are stressed out, trying to be something other than who or what they are

You think you are a broken piece of glass, when you really are a diamond, uncut and raw

As you take on life you’re shaped and molded into a precious stone, the Lord will place in just the right setting

You go through life allowing yourself to be pulled down by others, your worth and elite status as a child of God you seem to keep forgetting

Be yourself

Understand you are uniquely created from a precious cloth specifically for a divine purpose

Know that if you allow him into your heart, you will begin to see yourself as so much more then what you see on the surface

You are created with spirit, wisdom, and joy, placed within you is a beautiful song

A song in your heart if allowed it will come through your good works for others to hear, loud and strong

Be yourself

But no walking around looking down at the ground, with your face just full of frowns

Allowing the criticism from others, sorrows and chaos of the world constantly bringing you down

Be yourself

On the inside you’re so full of negativity, your bright light is drowning and growing dim

Because you spend your time listening and internalizing the opinions of others instead of listening to HIM..

 There once was a man who walked the earth and all he did was good

He healed the sick and raised the dead, giving his life for our sins on his every word he stood

He never changed the man he was in spite of all the hate that was thrown his way

He was pieced in his side and nailed to the cross, thought for dead, but he rose on that momentous 3^rd day

He was himself

He never changed the man he was pure, and gentle helping those others would not,

he didn’t do this for popularity or fame or for people to

he was DOING HIM to demonstrate and show who he was and not for any superficial form of wealth

He was merely doing what he existed to do, what came naturally and that was to exemplify the joy that comes from just being yourself…..

Being true to who you are may not always be popular but it’s not nearly as stressful as maintaining a lie
