Many bridges to cross........

Bridges of trust, passing over from the side of mistrust with missed opportunities passing underneath joined together by the bridge of doubt

The bridge of common sense and self-worth crossing you from the side of Lust to the side of Love with the past relations..and relationships... passing in the opposite direction of my path

The bridge of insecurity to the bridge of self-love and honest confidence with the river of the previous negative situations, comments and criticisms flowing away from me in the sea of oblivion

The bridge that divides believing in people places and things, crossing over into a life of believing in things not seen., with the understanding that what is for me I will receive in due time.  Holding strong to this bridge called faith over this sea of misguided thinking and impatience

Yes, as John Lennon and Oleta Adams sung,

“Many rivers to cross, but I just can’t seem to find my way over                
wandering I’m lost as I travel along the white cliffs of Dover”

You can’t find your way because YOU don’t KNOW the way

Only the creator of you, knows the plans for you and is the only one who can navigate for you. 

You may not understand this, but these are bridges we all must cross, where we go from demanding, selfish acts and feelings of entitlement to the other side where there is love, utopia and understanding

Understanding that you MUST work for your wants, prioritize your needs, and take steps towards your dreams.  As childlike thinking flows beneath this bridge called……………ADULTHOOD
