you jump and you hop, you spin and you twirl
you're young and enjoying all life has placed in front of you
unaware of what lies ahead, not caring enjoying the moment
what else is there for you to do
These stairs aren't stairs, a huge mountain you simply must climb
that screeching sound of brakes and tires, playing a melodious tune you hear only in your mind
your dancing and swaying to a rhythm only you can hear
yet cautiously keeping an eye on mommy, who's grinning from ear to ear
she has an idea of the possible struggles for both of you that may lie ahead
but she chooses instead to live in and embrace this moment, choosing to be happy instead
we can learn a lot from God's little angels if we become patient, learn to wait and see
how to live hard, laugh often enjoying each moment....just living life being free...
