Hood Affirmation

I will not allow any member of my household to become a statistic
I will protect my children by not only being an awake parent but alert
I will preserve my marriage/relationship by knowing when to lead and when to follow
I will protect my community by not looking at ANY reality show star as a role model and by forgetting the message sent out by those who need to be snitched on and START SNITCHING!
I will get to know my local CAPS officer and my neighbors
I will work with my child's school and not against it
I will know my child/children's whereabouts at ALL times
I will view my behaviors and ask myself, "AM I a good role model?" if I answer yes then I will mentor someone else if I answer No, I will actively seek out a role model for MYSELF (church, school and family)
I will remember growth is essential to sustaining life, Spiritually, Mentally, Academically, Socially and financially.

I will strive to keep my head above water, above nonsense and above buffoonery
