Moving foreward

I am often asked the question, "how do I move forward"? The answer to this on some level is different for everyone but here are some basics......

1) Commit to YOU..there is nothing in this world that you can take with you when you leave so find ways to enjoy your time here. Focus your energy on making life worth living

2) Work on your "self trinity".
a..your spiritual self..no matter what you call your higher power, you need him to move forward. For those times when you can take no more and need that extra boost..pray for it, to receive confirmation that the path your on is the right one..pray about it (nothing worse then traveling somewhere for a long time and finding out your going the wrong way).

b...love and accept yourself...this will come in handy as you start making goals for yourself..knowing who you are, what you love and what you are good at, makes goal setting more achievable..set yourself up for ACHIEVEMENT

       c.  stabilize your basic needs..food, work on being healthy; shelter, organize/ clutter free your living space it should be your sanctuary; clothing, wear what expresses who you are on the inside, if you are not a stiletto girl why break your neck to become one...IJS there is something majical about knowing who you are and being proud of showing it.

next..set short terms goals for yourself and long term goals. But make them things that you can achieve, through hard work but not stressful..stress can can lead to feelings of hopelessness, which leads to giving up...

Example..short term goals can be..to be debt free in 2 years..good credit in 3... Financially stable in 3.5 and saving for the future in 5..if You get done sooner, great! Revise the plan
Or if you don't like time tables
Another example,
Go back to school in a year, look for scholarships and put deadlines on your calendar a week before due date, look at what it would take for you to be successful. Arrange for babysitting, save money for upfront fees, let employer know incase  you need to alter your schedule (or look for a new job), figure out  a schedule for home life and school life and section off a place to get homework/ studying done

My final general suggestions would be 1. Find a mentor (spiritual, academic or business) 2. This is a biggie. KEEP PEOPLE OUT YOUR BUSINESS ...particularly those who are negative nay Sayers ..only tell those who are in a position to help you, or genuinely want to support you
And the Biggest one............PRAY, PRAY and ask for direction, confirmation, help and emotional protection/ stability

If you don't believe it....you WON'T achieve it.....go forward!!!
